Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Tax Credit

If you are an accredited investor buying direct equity shares in local startups or manufacturing businesses (rather than a mutual fund), Saskatchewan recently launched this pilot program. How it works: It offers a 45% non-refundable tax credit for individuals and corporations who invest directly in the equity of eligible Saskatchewan manufacturing enterprises.
